The Sixth Researchers seminar is a gathering of students from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at King Abdulaziz University. The seminar focuses on the projects and research of master's and PhD students, with one of its primary goals being the integration and connection between the humanities and other sciences.
As an bachelor student (and the only one), I presented my project "Geographical Analysis of Threats to the Jeddah Demolition.
I’m pleased to announce that my project "Geographical Analysis of Threats to the Jeddah Demolition Project using Remote Sensing" has been nominated for the {Researchers (6)} symposium at the College of Arts and Humanities, a forum for Master and PhD research Studies.
I’m honored to represent the Department of Geography and Geographic Information Systems as the only bachelor student.
The project analyzes neighborhoods before and after the demolition, focusing on urban congestion and the impact of thermal emissions on newly congested areas. It also highlights the scarcity of green and open spaces in these neighborhoods and the strain on infrastructure networks due to sudden urban expansion and resource pressure.
