Study Objectives
The Jeddah Demolition Project aims to promote comprehensive development and achieve urban and economic transformation in the city of Jeddah. It also aims to improve the quality of life for residents and attract investments and tourism.
I conducted a thorough analysis of the “Jeddah Demolition Project”, assessing its positive and negative impact on the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. I utilized remote sensing technology, specifically near-infrared analysis for vegetation and medium infrared analysis for urban analysis in satellite imagery, to evaluate the project's positive and negative effects, as well as identify areas that have undergone demolition.
Through these evaluations, we can gain a comprehensive understanding of the project's impact on the environment, infrastructure, and the well-being of the residents. This information is crucial for implementing appropriate measures to address any potential negative consequences that may arise in the future.
